9:30 - 10:30am Fitness Workshop: Commit to be fit for summer! This workshop will help you on your fitness journey. Participants will be eligible for a one-time offer of a deeply discounted Personal Training Package. Babysitting available.*
10:30 - 11:30am PJ Library Story Time: Join us for PJ Library stories about camp, and create a summer-themed craft. For children under age 5.
1:00 - 3:00pm Pool Party: Crank up the heat, and come to the beach! Well, not the beach exactly, but our very own Dwares JCC pool. Family Swim will include swim toys, flotation devices, slides, and games for children of all ages. *All children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Regular pool rules apply.
1:00pm Human Rights and the Public Sphere: Using pictures from the exhibit, photographer Erez Kaganovitz will explore the subtle but present tensions among the different social groups in Tel Aviv and use this city as a laboratory to explore democracy, human rights, and the public sphere.
4:00pm Humans and the Social Fabric of Tel Aviv: The social fabric of Tel Aviv will be unraveled for you by the life stories of the different Humans who participated in this project, and you’ll discover why Tel Aviv is one of the most liberal cities in the world.
* BABYSITTING SERVICE: For children ages six months to six years, from 8:30am to 12 noon for up to two hours and on a first-come, first-served basis. A 24-hour advance reservation is required. Your child(ren) will be supervised by caring, experienced, and CPR/First Aid-certified staff.
