Pottery with Sally

This 10-session course is about hand building with clay. We will explore the pinch, coil, and slab techniques to create exciting forms and realize great ideas in three dimensions. We’ll learn some of the rules that clay demands, and then we’ll see what happens when we dare to break them!

About the instructor: For more than 50 years, Sally Merino has practiced her art through clay as a potter. Over the years, she taught ceramics to both children and adults, in schools and colleges. She looks forward to sharing her joy and her knowledge in teaching others about this simple yet amazing material from the earth: clay.
