Time to Parent: Organizing Your Life to Bring Out the Best in Your Child and You

Parenting can often leave us feeling like we are on a roller coaster. Join Jewish Book Council author and internationally renowned organizing and time management expert Julie Morgenstern as she discusses her book "Time to Parent: Organizing Your Life to Bring Out the Best in Your Child and You." In the age of extracurricular, calendar alerts and smart phones, the question of how to give your kids undivided attention – and still take care of yourself – looms larger than ever. Morgenstern will provide realistic, achievable methods that will help you savor your time with the kids and on your own. "Time to Parent" is a take-you-by-the-hand manual that shifts the goal from “having it all” to getting it right in that moment.

Being a parent is not always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. Our parent workshops are designed to provide knowledge and skills, and build community to help navigate through hard times and find joy in good times. These workshops are brought to you through a partnership between PJ Library/PJ Our Way, the David C. Isenberg Family Early Childhood Center, and the Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island.
