Lunch and Learn at Tamarisk: "Girls In Trouble: Stories about Biblical Women through Text, Music and Art"

Temple Emanu-El takes their adult education classes on the road! All are invited to join us for a lunch and learn with Rabbi Rachel Zerin at Tamarisk Assisted Living as we take a deep dive into the stories of biblical women. We will explore how they are portrayed in the Tanakh, midrash, visual art, and music, using a curriculum from folk artist and midrash scholar Alicia Jo Rabbins and the Jewish Women's Archive.
