Israeli Culture Night: A State at Any Cost: The Life of David Ben-Gurion with author Tom Segev

Tom Segev will present highlights from his book "A State at Any Cost: The Life of David Ben-Gurion" and discuss the legends that surround Israel’s founding prime minister. Segev’s probing biography ranges from the villages of Poland to the streets of Manhattan, showcasing Ben-Gurion’s leadership and ongoing legacy, which continues through the present day.

Author Bio: Tom Segev is among Israel's leading journalists and historians. His works include "1949: The First Israelis"; "Simon Wiesenthal: The Life and Legends"; and "One Palestine, Complete" (winner of a National Jewish Book Award and chosen by the New York Times as one of the best books of 2000).

Join us on the second Wednesday of most months for a night of Israeli culture! The programs range from cooking to lectures to movies and will touch on different aspects of Israel. Hosted by our shlichah (Israeli Emissary), Or Cohen.
