Serving Up Israel
“At its core, Israeli cuisine is a combination of foods from over 100 cultures that have melded in Israel.” -Lucy Cohen Blatter, JTA
Who was Levi Eshkol? What dish represents Ben Gurion? What did Golda Meir prepare in her kitchen during important meetings? And what do all these dishes have to do with the establishment and independence of the state of Israel?
Join us as we travel through history to learn about important Israeli dishes. Get a chance to discuss, cook, bake, and taste these classic dishes throughout what will definitely be a tasty evening.
To ensure all participants have the ingredients and supplies they need for this culinary event, we ask that you RSVP by December 27.
