Evening with Psychologist Miriam Shapira from Israel
I am very excited that we have the opportunity to spend the evening of November 17th with Miriam Shapira, MA.
Miriam Shapira is a clinical psychologist in Israel. She is a therapist with a special interest in situations of trauma and grief. She is founder and director of MAHUT Israel, a center for coping and resilience in response to threat and trauma. She also is the founder and first chairperson of BESOD SIACH, which promotes dialogue among conflict groups in Israel.
She will present to us on active listening, promotion of empathy and conflict resolution.
Given her diverse areas of interest and the amazing work that she is doing, I am very excited that she is able to spend the evening with the Core Connects RI community.
