At-Home Screening & Community Conversation on Documentary Film, "13th"
Join us for a discussion of 13th, a critically-acclaimed documentary film that offers an in-depth look at the United States' prison system and how it reveals the nation's history of racial inequality.
1st - Community members are invited to watch Ava Duvernay's film, 13th, on their own schedules. The film is available to watch on Netflix and YouTube.
2nd - Community members are invited to join together via Zoom at 7:00pm on July 19 for small group conversations and reflections on the film. Rev. Chontell Washington, Interim Executive Minister, Rhode Island State Council of Churches, will offer opening remarks.
